After a long day at the office I drove to Louisville with my buddy Jack Daniel Taylor to socialize at the Louisville Digital Association meet-up at the Water Tower. The meeting was convened by recently announced President, Jay Garmon and the guest speaker was Jason Hiner, Editor-in-Chief of TechRepublic. Jason’s speech was pretty good and covered his insight on the trends of tech for 2011. After the event, Jack and I took a few minutes outside taking pictures of the historical building we had the pleasure of hanging out in tonight. Below are some of the shots I captured and head over to Jack’s site to see one he caught using Instagram.
Mason’s First Birthday
Sean and Jenn’s son Mason celebrated his first birthday on Sunday and we had the pleasure of attending and hanging out with all of Caleb’s friends. Mommy and daddy’s friends were there too so everyone had a good time. Mason had a large cupcake while we sang the Happy Birthday song and Joanna Black showed the kids what kindermusik is all about. Thanks for the invite Sean and Jenn we had a blast!
It’s Barzee Christmas Time
For the past couple years I have had the pleasure to attend the Barzee Family Christmas which is usually held a short time after the new year when things have calmed down a bit. This year was quite fun and it seemed like everyone had a great time. Caleb got to play with a bunch of his cousins, I got to eat a bunch of food, and Aimee got to see her momma.
Part of the tradition is to exchage gifts via the White Elephant (WE) game.
