What is in store for us next? This past month Caleb learned to remain sitting up on his own after we place him on the floor. He really likes sitting up versus tummy time and is able to play with his toys for a little longer than before. He is able to move from the sitting position to his tummy, but sometimes a leg prevents him from getting there on the first try. It is only a matter of time before he starts crawling and Aimee is already placing safety devices around the house. As you can see from videos posted this month he is very active in the cart that circles the play station in the center and I hope this will be a segway for him when it comes to crawling/walking.

Aimee caught Caleb on camera mumbling what sounds like "momma." He is also seen making a new face and watching his cousin Shelby play with a Lincoln Log set. This guy cracks me up!

Caleb's cousin Miles recently learned to walk and spent some time with Caleb yesterday showing him the ropes. Watching this video makes me laugh, because it catches Caleb making a funny face in which he wrinkles his nose and squints his eyes. He also breathes heavily from his nose. Near the end Miles lets go of the cart and Caleb takes off to show him what he learned! Miles loses his balance and crawls to catch up to his cousin. We could make a movie watching these two hang out together... They're very humorous.

Not captured on camera Miles was trying to play with the toys on the hub of this object while Caleb was circling the hub causing Miles to move around quickly to avoid being run over.

We've captured a few videos of Caleb over the last couple weeks and I'm finally getting them online for the rest of you to enjoy. Sorry for the delay

Bath time! Caleb's cousin Miles joins us last Friday for a test drive of the new ducky bath. They had fun and Caleb really enjoyed his company. 

Caleb has learned to sit up on his own and discovered he could make a noise when he dropped his wooden block on the floor. He thinks he is so funny!

Recorded tonight just before his bedtime, Caleb gets a second wind and decides to go for a jog. By the time Aimee grabbed the camera and shot this he had been running laps for 5 minutes or so. I hope his legs are getting nice and strong for all the crawling he will be doing a few months from now.
